Planning and Risk Manager for Project Development and Execution

Liquid Wind is an emerging Power-to-Fuel Company committed to providing renewable liquid fuel to empower carbon neutral shipping. We are looking for a Planning and Risk Manager to support Liquid Wind to become a world-leader in clean fuel.

Established in 2017, we have a passionate, expert team and world-class partners, including Siemens Energy, Haldor Topsoe, Carbon Clean, Alfa Laval and Uniper. We are now developing our first Project with Övik Energi in Örnsköldsvik. To meet the growing demand for carbon neutral fuel our ambitious business model is designed for scale, we are aiming for 500 facilities by 2050.

As a small, fast-growing company we are looking for a hands-on team player, ready to hit the ground running. If you enjoy working autonomously and are excited to take Liquid Wind’s Project Planning and Risk management to the next level to support our commercial goals, we’d love to talk!

Our Head Office is in Gothenburg with a branch office in Allerød outside Copenhagen, however our team is fairly wide-spread.

 

What you will do

  • Prepare and maintain planning for development and execution of eMethanol projects

  • Work with key stakeholders and contractors to ensure common and coherent planning

  • Follow up and reporting of progress and earned value

  • Develop and implement a risk management system in Liquid Wind

  • Prepare and maintain risk registers and mitigation strategies for eMethanol projects

  • Work with key stakeholders and contractors to ensure a common risk plan

  • Follow up and reporting of risk status and value at risk

 

About you

  • Committed to mitigating the climate crisis in a collaborative way

  • 7-10 years experience with project management with focus on planning and risk

  • Experience with Work and Cost Break Down structures and earned value management

  • Experience with Risk management methods and strategies

  • Experience with digitals tools for the above (Primavera P6, RamRisk etc.)

  • Comfortable working in a growing start-up. Autonomous with strong prioritisation skills and a hands-on attitude
