Project Development Coordinator

Liquid Wind is an emerging Power-to-Fuel Company committed to providing renewable liquid fuel to empower carbon neutral shipping. We are looking for a Project Development Coordinator to support Liquid Wind to become a world-leader in clean fuel.

Established in 2017, we have a passionate, expert team and world-class partners, including Siemens Energy, Haldor Topsoe, Carbon Clean, Alfa Laval and Uniper. We are now developing our first Project with Övik Energi in Örnsköldsvik. To meet the growing demand for carbon neutral fuel our ambitious business model is designed for scale, we are aiming for 500 facilities by 2050.

This is full time position based in Gothenburg. Our working language is English.

Your Challenge

On a day-to-day basis, your key responsibilities will include maintaining project documentation, such as plans and reports; assigning tasks and controlling schedules; communicating the project’s progress to team members and other stakeholders; and managing the project’s budget.

Day-to-day you will liaise with the project team to ensure on time delivery and that costs are documented so we do not go over budget. Your responsibilities will also include planning certain parts of the project, monitoring its progress, coordinating meetings, and overseeing other members of the project team.

 

What you will do

  • Assisting and supporting the Project Director

  • Designing and controlling the project schedule in proximity with Head of Finance

  • Preparing presentations to update senior management on the project’s progress and showcase the project’s value

  • Delegating tasks to team members

  • Tracking and communicating project risks and opportunities

  • Looking for ways to increase the project’s profitability and reduce expenses where possible

  • Ensuring deadlines are met

  • Organising and attending stakeholder meetings

  • Providing administrative support

  • Organising project team meetings and recording minutes

  • Liaising with clients to determine the project’s objectives

  • Handling financial queries

 

About you

  • Committed to mitigating the climate crisis in a collaborative way

  • 3-10 years’ experience working as a project coordinator, ideally across different industries

  • Adapt at structuring, organising and documentation

  • Broad experience with planning, project management or management consulting

  • Good overall knowledge about energy or large infrastructure projects and experienced in working within various capacities

  • Self-propelled, quality conscious and apply critical thinking

  • Enjoy collaborating with your colleagues and working in an international setting

  • Confident multitasking, communicating, and organising schedules

  • Quality-conscious, structured and can take own initiatives in the work
