Liquid Wind takes privacy seriously and our customers, employees and other stakeholders can trust that we manage data privacy in a correct and transparent way. Liquid Wind AB (559113-8267) is the data controller for the processing operations further described in this notice.
HOW AND WHEN WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA
1. WHEN YOU VISIT OUR WEBSITE
When you visit our website, liquidwind.com, we process the personal data you provide to us via forms, including your name, email address, company and country. We are also using cookies on our website to make your experience better. You can find more information on how we use cookies in our cookie policy.
We process your personal data for this purpose based on your consent. You can choose to withdraw your consent at any time by contacting info@liquidwind.com.
2. WHEN YOU SUBSCRIBE TO OUR NEWSLETTER
When you subscribe to our newsletter, we process the personal data you provide to us, including your name and email address. We use an e-mail service platform to help with the newsletter. This supplier may also process your personal data on our behalf.
Your personal data are processed to manage your subscription and to track your interaction with the newsletter. We also process your data to provide company updates via email, as requested by you.
We process your personal data for this purpose based on your consent. You can choose to withdraw your consent and unsubscribe to the newsletter at any time using the links in the e-mail or by emailing info@liquidwind.com.
3. WHEN YOU COMMUNICATE WITH US
If you send us an email, we process the personal data you provide to us in such communication, for example, your name, phone number and email address. We process your data to be able to respond to your request.
The processing of data is based on our legitimate interests. This means that we have made the assessment that our need to be able to respond to your request outweighs your potential (but unlikely) interest of not having your data processed.
We delete communication with regular intervals and at least once a year.
4.WHEN WE HAVE AN EVENT OR WEBINAR
We process your personal data if you have signed up for and/or attended one of our events or webinars. We do this to give you access to the event or webinar and to follow up on your feedback. For this purpose we may process your name, email address, phone number and country. If we use an event partner, your personal data may be shared with this party.
We process the data based on our legitimate interests. This means that we have made the assessment that our interest to give you access to an event or webinar is in line with your interest of attending the same.
We will store your personal data for one year after you last attended a webinar or event. We do this to be able to send you new invites to events and/or webinars that we think may be of interest to you.
5. IF YOU LIVE NEAR A LOCATION WHERE WE ARE LOOKING TO BUILD A FACILITY
When we search for the best location to build one of our facilities, we are obliged to collect input and feedback from residents in the immediate area. This is done through one of our partners tasked with this particular assignment. The personal data that we obtain will only be processed for this purpose and in accordance with Swedish Environmental Code (1998:808). For this purpose we may process your name, address, property designation, email address, phone number and consultation comments. Your personal data will be stored in accordance with applicable laws and during the time of application.
6. IF YOU ARE A SHAREHOLDER
We process personal data about our shareholders in order to fulfill our obligations to the shareholders, including providing information, pay out dividends and provide notices.
For this purpose we may process your name, address, personal registration number, phone number, number of shares, dividend information, country of origin, bank accounts, and signatures.
The processing of data is based on a legal obligation and on our legitimate interests. This means that we have made the assessment that our interest in processing your data to fulfil our obligations outweighs your potential (but unlikely) interest of not having your data processed for this purpose. We store your personal data in accordance with laws. Data we are not legally required to keep, we will delete when you are no longer a shareholder.
7. WHOM WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITH
In addition to the suppliers and partners mentioned above, we also have suppliers who help us with data storage and the operation of our IT systems.
Your personal data may also be transferred to others (such as courts or authorities) if required by law, dispute, or request by authority or decision.
8. WHERE YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL BE PROCESSED
We use various systems offered by different software and service providers. Consequently, we will process your personal data within the EU/EEA as well as in the UK and the United States. We will take necessary measures to ensure that the processing complies with applicable legislation, to the fullest extent possible. For this purpose, we have entered into EU Model Clauses with these providers.
9. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to know what personal data we are processing about you and you may request a copy of these, free of charge. You also have the right to have incorrect personal data about you corrected or deleted. Under certain circumstances, you may request that we delete your personal data (for example, if the personal data is no longer necessary for the purpose we collected it for).
You have the right to object to processing that takes place with support of our legitimate interests and to request that we limit our processing of your data while we investigate your request(s).
At any time, you may withdraw your consent (to processing that we do based on your consent). If you withdraw your consent, it does not affect processing that has already taken place.
In some cases you may request to receive your personal data in a machine-readable format and to transfer the data to another personal data controller indicated by you.
If you are dissatisfied with the way we process your personal data, you have the right to submit a complaint to the supervisory authority where you live or work or where you believe that a breach of the GDPR has been committed. In Sweden, you can contact the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (www.imy.se).
